About the scholarship
The Focus and Learning Center Scholarship supports students in Minnesota who are dedicated to their education, demonstrate leadership potential, and have a desire to grow. By covering a portion of tuition costs, this scholarship helps reduce the financial pressure of college and empowers students to focus on their goals. Scholarship awardees will also receive academic coaching support. ​​​
Who can apply?
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be either graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in a college or university in Minnesota, or current college students in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. Deadline for application submission is March 1, 2026. Awardees will be announced April 1, 2026.
Requirements
Applicants must be in good academic standing and meet the minimum GPA requirement of 2.5. They must also submit the application form and upload all required supporting documents as outlined in the application. Applicants must be residents of Minnesota.
Applications
Along with the application form, you must submit additional documents, including your transcript, proof of enrollment, a letter of recommendation, and a 300–500-word essay. In the essay, please address your educational and career goals, explain how receiving this scholarship will help you achieve those goals, and share any personal achievements or challenges you have faced.
Scholarship for Tuition Support
Eligible students in Minnesota are invited to apply for a scholarship for tuition support. Deadline for application submission is March 1, 2026. Awardees will be announced April 1, 2026.
